"Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still." (c)

If you want me to capture your newborn baby contact me before you deliver - the sooner the better. This way we'll have maximum flexibility as far as the session date is concerned and won't miss the precious time - which is first 5 -10 days after the baby's birth. This period of time is a little bit longer for premies and shorter for the late ones. Once the baby's older than 2 weeks, it's almost impossible to take those curvy little portraits laying in baskets, since their sleep is less deep and they get longer and less flexible.

What to expect

The newborn session might range from 2 to 4 hours.

With all this time we have enough for feedings (both for the baby and mom) and bathroom breaks. All the photo props are provided and before we meet fot the actual shoot we'll discuss your ideas and expectations so that you get what you wanted.
The photoshoot is held at your home for your and baby's comfort. You don't have to get ready and take a ride to a studio, worrying about feedings and potty breaks - you'll stay where the comfort level is the highest! And it's up to me to figure out what would work best to get the best portraits. You don't have to worry about anything at all.

I bring wraps at all times, if you want baskets to be used, just let me know. We can discuss use of props of your own or additional items, just let me know what outcome you want and we'll make it work.

When to schedule the session

Since babies decide when they want to come into this world, I recommend contacting me as soon as possible. And I mean before the baby even arrives - taking the due date as the day of the photo session. If you've already delivered and still uncertain whether it's too late or not - give me a call as soon as you've read this. We'll figure out the best plan for you and your baby.
