Beach family session

​I have so may family beach sessions that I feel like I almost live on the beach. Sandy feet and happy faces, I love capturing those precious moments. 

A couple of months ago I received an inquiery from a family that lives all the way in Minnesota. The mom was looking for a vacation photographer in San Diego and found me. She wanted a beach session for sure, however, she was pessimistic about the kids' and her husband's mood, hence he was asking about a mini-session, 15 minutes and just a couple of photos. I let her know that we could go with the flow and see how many portraits we could create, since I am a strong believer that mood is king and rules the people photography world. 

As the time of their vacation was approaching we discussed clothing options, and came up with light and airy look. We were incredibly lucky to have a matching lighting as well. 

Needless to say that we spent 1 hour having fun, laughing, running, exploring the beach and marine life. Three boys from Minnesota saw the ocean for the very first time in their life! And the result we've gotten, these beautiful portraits, is the best souvenir the family brought from San Deigo.
